Revolve Hall Just Added 3 New Spots to Eat in Apple Valley
TLDR
- Revolve Hall in Apple Valley has three new spots to eat: Italian Butcher, Smashies & Frankies and Mean Miner's.
- Italian Butcher is woodfired pizza, pasta and Italian cocktails. It replaces Tequila Butcher, and opening day is Friday, Nov. 6.
- Smashies & Frankies (smash burgers and hot dogs) and Mean Miner's (street tacos and burritos) are open now.
- Curiouser Coffee is still there, opening at 7:30 a.m.
- It's all at 14889 Florence Trail in Apple Valley.
There's a lot more to eat on Florence Trail this winter.
Revolve Hall, the food hall in Apple Valley, just rolled out what it's calling its winter lineup. Three new spots, plus the coffee shop regulars already know. Revolve Hall announced it on Instagram this week.
Here's what's in there now.
Italian Butcher: Woodfired Pizza + Pasta
This is the big one. Italian Butcher opens Friday, Nov. 6, and it's the most "sit down and stay a while" spot in the building.
It takes over the space that was Tequila Butcher. The Wondrous Collective opened an Apple Valley Tequila Butcher inside Revolve Hall this spring. If you're craving those brisket tacos, the original Tequila Butcher in Chanhassen is still open.
The menu is built around a wood-fired oven. Think pizza, pasta, woodfired sandwiches, soup and salad, plus wine, beer and Italian cocktails.
A few things that jumped out on the menu:

- Hot Honey & Pepperoni pizza: $16
- Blackberry & Ricotta pizza: $16 (that's the one in all the photos)
- Birria Pizza: $18
- Woodfired Meatballs: $14
- Spaghetti & Meatballs: $19
- Lasagna Bolognese: $20
- The Italian (woodfired sandwich with fries): $17
After 4 p.m., the menu adds bigger entrées like Chicken Parmesan ($25), Chicken Marsala ($22), Woodfired Salmon ($32) and a Grilled Ribeye ($48).
On the drink side, there's an Espresso Martini ($14), a Smoked Manhattan ($14), a Negroni ($13) and wine by the glass from $9 to $14. Tiramisu, panna cotta and cannoli are $10 each.
Good to know: Italian Butcher adds a 3% fee to credit card checks. It's waived if you pay with cash or debit.
Hours: Opens at 11 a.m. daily.
Smashies & Frankies: Smash Burgers + Hot Dogs
Their tagline is "Burgers you crave. Dogs you love." That about covers it.
Smashies & Frankies is a griddle counter with smash burgers on one side and all-beef hot dogs on the other. If the name sounds familiar, you might know it from Farmer's Grandson Eatery in Eagan and Lakeville, where it also has a counter.
What to order:
- The Monster Smash: $12.99
- Oklahoma Double Smash: $15.49
- Chicago Dog: $7.49
- Cheese Curds: $6.99
It's open now.
Mean Miner's: Street Tacos + Burritos
Mean Miner's does smoked street tacos, burritos and bowls. The motto is "Packed tight. Built to fuel."
What to order:
- Taco Combo: from $13.99 (two or three tacos with taco fries and queso)
- Quesa Birria Taco: $6.49
- Barbacoa Burrito or Bowl: $13.99
- Taco Fries + Queso Dip: $4.99
That taco combo is one of the better deals in the building. It's open now too.
Still There: Curiouser Coffee
Curiouser carried over from the Misfits Collective days. It's got an Alice in Wonderland theme and a crowd that likes to camp out with a laptop for a few hours.
It opens at 7:30 a.m., hours before the rest of the hall. Specialty lattes like The Only Alice and Hatter Brained are $6 hot or $7.50 iced. There's food too, like a $14 breakfast burrito and $12 avocado toast.
Wait, What Is Revolve Hall?
If you've driven past it and wondered, here's the quick version.
Revolve Hall is a food hall at 14889 Florence Trail in Apple Valley. You walk in, pick a counter (or two), and eat together in one big dining room. Everyone in your group can get something different.
It used to be the Misfits Collective food hall. In late 2024, the company behind it announced it was turning the space into Revolve Hall.
That company is The Wondrous Collective, a south metro restaurant group led by founder Tony Donatell. You probably know some of its other spots:
- Farmer's Grandson Eatery (Eagan and Lakeville)
- Volstead House (Eagan)
- The Farmer's Cellar (Lakeville)
- Bourbon Butcher and Farmtown Brew Hall (Farmington)
- Tequila Butcher and Rum Row (Chanhassen)
In 2025, the group hired James Beard-nominated chef Thomas Boemer, formerly of Revival and Corner Table, as its culinary director. Revolve Hall got a full menu refresh as part of that.
The name fits. The concepts inside rotate. This winter's lineup is the newest turn.
