Your Complete Guide to South Metro Farmers Markets

South Metro Scoop Team
February 2, 2026

Summer's coming, which means farmers markets are firing back up across the South Metro.

We pulled together details on every market in Dakota County and Scott County, the actual schedules, locations, what you can find, and which ones accept EBT or Market Bucks.

Most markets run from late spring through October, with a few winter indoor options too. You'll find fresh produce straight from local growers, baked goods, honey, flowers, handmade soap, specialty foods, and in some cases live music and food trucks. Several markets are operated by the Saint Paul Farmers' Market, which means consistent quality and vendor standards across locations.

Whether you're in Hastings, Apple Valley, Farmington, Eagan, Burnsville, Prior Lake, Savage, Shakopee, or Rosemount — there's a market near you.
