Learn practical babysitting skills with instructor Sarah Erickson in this four-hour, hands-on course for ages 11–15. Participants must be at least 11 on the class date; the registration section accepts ages through 15 years 11 months. Topics include feeding, handling and diapering infants and children, basic first aid, child behavior, age-appropriate activities, emergency response, leadership, communication and starting a babysitting business. Successful participants receive a Farmington Community Education Babysitter certificate confirming that the instructor observed proficiency in the course objectives and skills on the class date. Bring lunch, a water bottle and snacks. Class meets Friday, October 9, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Central Time at Tiger Legacy and Learning Center, 510 Walnut Street, Farmington.
