The Castle Co-mmunity Performing Arts Festival brings community-created theatre to the Lakeville Area Arts Center. The city's calendar advertises the festival for October 9 and 10, 2026, with short-play passes priced at $15 and cabaret tickets at $20. CastleCo Theatre's current homepage specifically promotes the Short Play Festival on October 10. That program contains eleven short plays, each about 10 to 15 minutes long, grouped into approximately hour-long blocks. The directors range from grade-school students to adults. Audiences may choose individual blocks or attend all of them. CastleCo recommends the short-play program for ages seven and older.
