Meet Apple Valley firefighters and learn about fire safety at a family-friendly station open house. Visitors can explore fire apparatus, watch safety demonstrations and take part in hands-on activities. The 2026 Fire Prevention Week theme focuses on safe charging and preventing lithium-ion battery fires involving everyday devices such as phones, laptops, e-bikes and scooters. The department is opening a different station on each of three evenings; this session is at Station 1 from 6 to 8 p.m. Community members can connect with the firefighters who serve Apple Valley and learn more about prevention.
