Spot’s Last Stop Canine Rescue celebrates the first anniversary of its rescue center with a backyard gathering featuring adoptable dogs, local breweries, food trucks and vendors. Family activities include a bounce house, pumpkin painting, a stuffed-puppy station, a puppy smooch booth and Glitter Ink. Visitors can take center tours, see a fire truck, browse the silent auction and join raffle activities. Admission is free. Beer-garden sampler packs, the bags tournament, Zoomie Zone activities and raffle entries require separate tickets or advance registration. The celebration runs October 3 from 1 to 5 p.m. at 6025 170th Street East.
