Nuvera hosts a drive-through document-shredding event for Cybersecurity Awareness Month at its Prior Lake office. A NAID AAA Certified professional shredding company will collect confidential papers from vehicles and place them in secure shredding containers. Bring no more than three standard-sized bags or boxes, and leave electronics and large clips at home. The service is free for Nuvera customers who bring a copy of an invoice. Non-customers are welcome and are encouraged to make a small donation for a local food shelf. Enter the parking lot while traveling east on Colorado Street, rather than from Main Street. The event runs October 24 from 9 to 11 a.m., or until the truck fills.
