Teens ages 12–18 can decorate a pumpkin at Shakopee Library on October 27 from 4 to 5 p.m. Pumpkins will be provided while supplies last, along with decorating materials, snacks, and drinks. Registration is strongly recommended. Participants can prepare an entry for the library's third annual tween-and-teen pumpkin contest: designs must have a literary theme or reflect a love of reading, a favorite book, or book characters, and pumpkins must not be carved. Contest entries must be delivered to the library by the end of October 29. This TeenTober session meets in the Large Meeting Room at 235 Lewis Street South.
