Children can practice their reading with a registered therapy dog at Shakopee Library on October 19. Drop in between 6 and 7 p.m. to spend time reading a story to a trained dog. The activity offers young readers a canine audience and takes place at 235 Lewis Street South. The library points families to Reading Education Assistance Dogs for more information about the reading-dog program.
